The production of wine in New Jersey has increased significantly in the last thirty years with the opening of many new wineries. New Jersey wines are now earning recognition for their quality from critics and industry leaders and in national and international competitions.

The New Jersey wine industry is a $320 million industry that provides 2,000 jobs. It has grown 40% in the past five years.

Atlantic County is home to several quality wineries.

Craft Breweries & Distilleries

Craft beer in the US is a $22.3 billion industry registering 12.8% growth in sales in 2015.

Craft beer and liquor sales in New Jersey have seen rapid growth since 2012 legislation was enacted that eased restrictions on production quantities while also allowing greater freedom for retail sales within the breweries themselves. As of 2015 New Jersey craft breweries brewed 80,000 barrels of beer with an economic impact of $1.2 billion up from 32,000 barrels in 2010.

Atlantic County is home to five craft breweries and two specialty distilleries.
